UPI Service for NRI: এ বছর চালু হবে ডিজিটাল ক্রেডিট, অনাবাসী ভারতীয়রা পাবেন ইউপিআই পরিষেবা
ইতিমধ্যেই নেপালের সঙ্গে অংশীদারিত্ব শুরু করেছে, পরে সিঙ্গাপুর, ভুটান, ব্রিটেন এবং সংযুক্ত আরব আমিরাতে এই ইউপিআই মডেলের প্রচার করা হবে।
কেন্দ্রীয় টেলিকম ও তথ্যপ্রযুক্তি মন্ত্রী অশ্বিনী বৈষ্ণব (Ashwini Vaishnaw) জানিয়েছেন, চলতি বছরেই ডিজিটাল ক্রেডিট (Digital Credit) পরিষেবা চালু করা হবে। ডিজিটাল পেমেন্টস উৎসব'-এ বৈষ্ণব বলেন, এটি ইউপিআই পরিষেবার মতো চালু করা হবে এবং প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদীর 'ডিজিটাল ইন্ডিয়া'র ভিশনের অধীনে এটি একটি বড় সাফল্য পাবে।

অনুষ্ঠানে বক্তব্য রেখে মেইটাইয়ের (MeitY) সচিব অলকেশ কুমার শর্মা (Alkesh Kumar Sharma) বলেন, ইউপিআই-কে এখন বিশ্বব্যাপী পেমেন্ট পণ্যে পরিণত করা উচিত, যার জন্য ন্যাশনাল পেমেন্টস কর্পোরেশন অফ ইন্ডিয়া (National Payments Corporation of India) ইতিমধ্যেই নেপালের সঙ্গে অংশীদারিত্ব শুরু করেছে, পরে সিঙ্গাপুর, ভুটান, ব্রিটেন এবং সংযুক্ত আরব আমিরাতে এই ইউপিআই মডেলের প্রচার করা হবে।
