আর্থিক তছরুপ কাণ্ডে ৬ মাস ইডি-র হাতে গ্রেফতার হওয়ার পর চলতি বছর এপ্রিলে জামিন পেয়েছিলেন আম আদমি পার্টির সাংসদ সঞ্জয় সিং (Sanjay Singh)।এবার ২৩ বছরের পুরো এক মামলায় ফের গ্রেফতার হওয়ার মুখে অরবিন্দ কেজিরওয়ালের বিশ্বস্ত সঙ্গী। উত্তর প্রদেশের এক আদালত ২৩ বছরের এক পুরনো মামলায় সঞ্জয় সিং-কে গ্রেফতার করার নির্দেশ।
আগামী বুধবার, ২৮ অগাস্টের পুলিশকে তাঁকে আদালতে পেশ করার নির্দেশও দেওয়া হয়েছে। এই মামলায় বারবার আদালতের সমন অগ্রাহ্য করায় কঠোর পদক্ষেপ নিয়ে আপ রাজ্যসভার সাংসদ-কে গ্রেফতার করার নির্দেশ দিল আদালত।
