চব্বিশের লোকসভা নির্বাচনের আগে এটাই কেন্দ্রের বিজেপি (BJP) সরকারের শেষ বাজেট (Budget)। চব্বিশের লোকসভা নির্বাচনের পর পূর্ণাঙ্গ বাজেট পেশ করা হবে বলে জানানো হয় কেন্দ্রীয় সরকারের তরফে। বৃহস্পতিবার অন্তবর্তী বাজেট পেশের পর তার ভূয়ষী প্রশংসা করেন কেন্দ্রীয় স্বরাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রী অমিত শাহ (Amit Shah)। নির্মলা সীতারামনের (Nirmala Sitharaman) বাজেট পেশের পর ট্যুইট করেন অমিত শাহ। সেখানে তিনি বলেন, ২০৪৭ সালের মধ্যে যে উন্নত ভারত গঠিত হবে, এই বাজেটের মাধ্যমে তার রাস্তা প্রস্তুত করে দেওয়া হল। উন্নত ভারত গঠনে প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদীর যে লক্ষ্য রয়েছে, তারই 'রোড ম্যাপ' তৈরি হল বলে মত প্রকাশ করেন অমিত শাহ।
