Tribute To Martyrs Of 2001 Parliament Attack: ২০০১ সালের সংসদ হামলার নিহতদের শ্রদ্ধা নিবেদন করলেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী, বিরোধী দলনেতা সহ অন্যান্যরা
১৩ ডিসেম্বর ২০০১, হঠাৎই গুলির শব্দে কেঁপে উঠেছিল পার্লামেন্ট। পাঁচজন সন্ত্রাসবাদীর ভয়ঙ্কর আক্রমণে নিহত হয়েছিল এক জন সাধারণ নাগরিক-সহ বারো জন। মৃতদের মধ্যে ছিলেন ছয়জন দিল্লি পুলিশ কর্মী, দুইজন সংসদ নিরাপত্তা পরিষেবা কর্মী এবং একজন মালী। গুলির লড়াইয়ে পাঁচ হামলাকারীর সবাই নিরাপত্তা বাহিনীর হাতে নিহত হলেও লস্কর-ই-তৈবা ও জৈস-ই-মহম্মদ জঙ্গিদের এই হামলা আজও ভারতে বহু আলোচিত একটি ঘটনা।

২০০১ সালের আজকের দিনে সন্ত্রাসবাদী হামলার সময় সংসদকে রক্ষা করতে গিয়ে প্রাণ বিসর্জন দেওয়া নিহতদের প্রতি গোটা দেশ আজ শ্রদ্ধা জানাচ্ছে। সকালবেলায় নতুন সংসদ ভবনে উপরাষ্ট্রপতি ও রাজ্যসভার চেয়ারম্যান জগদীপ ধনখড়, প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী, লোকসভার স্পিকার ওম বিড়লা, বিরোধী দলনেতা রাহুল গান্ধী সহ কেন্দ্রীয় মন্ত্রীরা ও সংসদ সদস্যরা শহীদদের প্রতি শ্রদ্ধা জানান।
