ম্যাজিক ফিগার এখন অলীক স্বপ্ন, টেনেটুনে ৩০০-এর গণ্ডি পেরোতে পারবে কিনা এই নিয়ে চিন্তায় বিজেপি শিবির। একেবার কড়া টক্কর চলছে বিজেপি-কংগ্রেসের মধ্যে। অন্যদিকে প্রত্যাশা ছাপিয়ে অনেক ভালো ফল করেছে ইন্ডিয়া জোট। ফলে শুধু কংগ্রেস নয়, তৃণমূল কংগ্রেস, এনসিপি, শিবসেনা (ইউবিটি), আম আদমি পার্টি সহ প্রতিটি দলের যৌথ লড়াইয়ের কারণেই আজ কোনঠাসা মোদী-শাহরা। এই প্রসঙ্গে শিবসেনা (ইউবিটি) দলের নেতা সঞ্জয় রাউত (Sanjay Raut) বলেছেন, "২৪-এর নির্বাচনের ফলাফল বলে দিচ্ছে বিজেপির বিদায় আসন্ন। সেই কারণে এবারে পূর্ণ সংখ্যাগরিষ্ঠতা পেল না বিজেপি। এই ফলাফল দেখে প্রধানমন্ত্রী পদ থেকে মোদীর অবিলম্বে ইস্তফা দেওয়া উচিত। অবশেষে মোদী-শাহের অহঙ্কারের সমাপ্তি ঘটল"।
