গতকাল, শনিবার রাতে সাংবাদিক সেজে পুলিশের নিরাপত্তার মধ্যে সরাসরি গুলি করে আতিক আহমেদ ও তার ভাইক আশরাফকে হত্যা করে তিন দুষ্কৃতী।
গতকাল, শনিবার রাতে প্রয়াগরাজে সাংবাদিক সেজে পুলিশের নিরাপত্তা বলয়ের মধ্যে সরাসরি গুলি করে আতিক আহমেদ ও তার ভাইক আশরাফকে হত্যা করে তিন দুষ্কৃতী। সেই সময় আতিক ও তার ভাইকে প্রশ্ন করেছিল দেশের প্রায় সব বড় সংবাদমাধ্যমের সংবাদকর্মীরা।। লাইভ টিভিতে শ্যুট আউটের ভিডিয়ো দেখে আঁতকে উঠেছে গোটা দেশ। এই কাণ্ডে সাংবাদিকদের নিরাপত্তা নিয়ে বড় প্রশ্ন উঠেছে।
আর তাই কেন্দ্রীয় স্বরাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রক সাংবাদিকদের সুরক্ষা ও নিরাপত্তায় বিশেষ পদক্ষেপ নিতে চলেছে। সাংবাদিকদের জন্য তৈরি হচ্ছে পরিচালনার আদর্শ প্রক্রিয়া বা স্ট্যান্ডার্ড অপারেটিং প্রসেডিউর (SOP)।
