মহিলাদের অপমান কোনওভাবেই বরদাস্ত করা হবে না। এমনই মন্তব্য করলেন জয়া বচ্চন। সমাজবাদী পার্টির সাংসদ বলেন, কোনও রাজৈনিতক ব্যক্তি যদি মহিলাদের সম্পর্কে অপমানজনক মন্তব্য করেন, তাঁকে ছুঁড়ে ফলেতে হবে। মহারাষ্ট্রের রাজ্যপালের সঙ্গে সাক্ষাৎ করতে গিয়ে এমনই মন্তব্য করলেন অভিনেত্রী তথা সমাদবাদী পার্টির সাংসদ জয়া বচ্চন। সম্প্রতি মহারাষ্ট্রের মন্ত্রী আবদুল সাত্তার এনসিপি নেত্রী সুপ্রিয়াল সুলের বিরুদ্ধে অপমানজনক মন্তব্য করেন বলে অভিযোগ ওঠে। ক্যামেরার সামনে টেলিভিশনের পর্দায় বসে শারদ পাওয়ারের কন্যার বিরুদ্ধে অপমানজনক মন্তব্য করেন। এরপরই শিবসেনার তরফে বিক্ষোভ দেখানো হয়। যা নিয়ে মহারাষ্ট্র জুড়ে শোরগোল শুরু হলে, এবার বিষয়টি নিয়ে রাজ্যপালের দ্বারস্থ হন জয়া বচ্চনরা।
