Chennai Airport Customs: চেন্নাই বিমানবন্দরে বিভিন্ন প্রজাতির সাপ ও গিরগিটি নিয়ে ধৃত মহিলা, দেখুন ভিডিয়ো
কুয়ালালামপুর থেকে বিমানে করে ২২টি বিভিন্ন প্রজাতির সাপ ও একটি গিরগিটি ব্যাগ করে নিয়ে এসেছিল এক মহিলা।
কুয়ালালামপুর (Kuala Lumpur) থেকে বিমানে (Flight) করে ২২টি বিভিন্ন প্রজাতির সাপ (snakes of various species) ও একটি গিরগিটি (chameleon) ব্যাগ করে নিয়ে এসেছিল এক মহিলা (female passenger)।
শুক্রবার তামিলনাড়ুর (Tamil Nadu) চেন্নাই বিমানবন্দরের কাস্টমস (Chennai Airport Customs) আধিকারিকরা তার ব্যাগে তল্লাশি করতেই বিষয়টি প্রকাশ্যে আসে। এরপরই ১৯৬২ সালের কাস্টমস অ্যাক্ট (Customs Act, 1962) ও ১৯৭২ সালের বন্যপ্রাণ সংরক্ষণ আইন (Wildlife Protection act, 1972) অনুযায়ী সাপগুলি ও গিরগিটিকে বাজেয়াপ্ত করা হয়েছে।
