পুঞ্চে ভারতীয় বায়ুসেনার ওপর হামলায় যোগ রয়েছে পাক জঙ্গিদের। এই সম্ভাবনার কথা সামনে আসতে সীমান্ত অঞ্চলে নজরদারি বাড়িয়েছে ভারত। এমনকী বুধবার থেকে জম্মু-কাশ্মীর পুলিশ ও ভারতীয় সেনার যৌথ বাহিনী সীমান্ত এলাকায় সন্ত্রাস বিরোধী অভিযান (Anti-Terror Operation) শুরু করবে বলে জানা গিয়েছে। পুলিশ সূত্রে খবর, আখনুরের বাটাল এলাকায় অভিযান শুরু করেছে যৌথ বাহিনী।
