মকর সংক্রান্তির খুশিতে মেতে উঠেছে দেশ। কোথাও লহরি, তো কোথাও পোঙ্গাল, আবার কোথাও উত্তরায়ন পালন করা হয় মকর সংক্রান্তিতে। আর দেশের বিভিন্ন প্রান্তে মকর সংক্রান্তির এই সবই উতসবই পুরীর সমুদ্র সৈকতে ভেসে উঠল।
মকর সংক্রান্তির খুশিতে মেতে উঠেছে দেশ। কোথাও লহরি, তো কোথাও পোঙ্গাল, আবার কোথাও উত্তরায়ন পালন করা হয় মকর সংক্রান্তিতে। আর দেশের বিভিন্ন প্রান্তে মকর সংক্রান্তির এই সবই উতসবই পুরীর সমুদ্র সৈকতে ভেসে উঠল। বালুশিল্পী সুদর্শন পট্টনায়েক বালির ভাস্কর্য দিয়ে তুলে ধরলেন মকর সংক্রান্তির উতসবকে। বালির ওপর জ্বলজ্বল করছে, 'মেরা ভারত মহান' কথাটি। দেশবাসীকে নিজের শিল্পকাজের মাধ্যমে মকর সংক্রান্তি, অভিনন্দন দেশের সব উতসব, বড় ইভেন্ট উঠে আসে সুদর্শন পট্টনায়েকের বালির ভাস্কর্য।
