১৯৮৪ সালের শিখ বিরোধী দাঙ্গায় অভিযুক্ত প্রাক্তন কংগ্রেস নেতা সজ্জন কুমার জিন্দলকে ৩ জন শিখ খুনের ঘটনায় মুক্তি দিল দিল্লি রউজ অ্যাভিনিউ কোর্ট।এই ঘটনায় আরও অন্যন্যদেরও মুক্তি দিয়েছে দিল্লি আদালত। রায়ের কপি এখনও বিশদে পাওয়া যায়নি।
১৯৮৪ ইন্দিরা গান্ধীর হত্যাকান্ডের পর যে দাঙ্গা ছড়িয়ে পড়েছিল শিখদের বিরুদ্ধে সেই দাঙ্গায় উপস্থিত থাকার এবং শিখদের খুনের অভিযোগ ছিল সজ্জন জিন্দলের বিরুদ্ধে।
