Reserve Bank of India: বাড়বে কী রেপোরেট? নাকি থাকবে অপরিবর্তিত? সিদ্ধান্ত নিতে শুরু ভারতীয় রিজার্ভ ব্যাঙ্কের মুদ্রানীতি কমিটির বৈঠক
ভারতীয় রিজার্ভ ব্যাঙ্কের মুদ্রানীতি কমিটির (Monetary Policy Committee) তিন দিনের বৈঠক আজ মুম্বইতে শুরু হতে চলেছে। বৈঠক চলবে শুক্রবার পর্যন্ত। শুক্রবার সকালে সুদের হার নিয়ে মুদ্রানীতি কমিটির (MPC)-এর সিদ্ধান্ত ঘোষণা করবেন। নবনিযুক্ত আরবিআই গভর্নরের সভাপতিত্বে এটিই হবে প্রথম বৈঠক। বর্তমানে, ব্যাঙ্ক ২০২৩ সালের ফেব্রুয়ারি থেকে রেপো রেট ৬.৫ শতাংশে অপরিবর্তিত রেখেছে। ভোগ-নেতৃত্বপূর্ণ চাহিদা বাড়ানোর লক্ষ্যে কেন্দ্রীয় বাজেটে বেশ কয়েকটি উদ্যোগের সাম্প্রতিক ঘোষণার পরিপ্রেক্ষিতে, বিশেষজ্ঞরা ভবিষ্যদ্বাণী করেছেন যে রিজার্ভ ব্যাঙ্ক অফ ইন্ডিয়া (RBI) মূল সুদের হার ২৫ বেসিস পয়েন্ট কমাতে পারে।
