লোকসভার পর এবার রাজ্যসভায় অপারেশন সিঁদুর (Operation Sindoor) নিয়ে বক্তব্য রাখলেন প্রতিরক্ষা মন্ত্রী রাজনাথ সিং(Rajnath Singh)। মঙ্গলবার রাজ্যসভায় প্রতিরক্ষা মন্ত্রী রাজনাথ সিং বলেন, "এই অভিযানের উদ্দেশ্য ছিল সন্ত্রাসবাদীদের আস্তানা ধ্বংস করা এবং ভারত সন্ত্রাসবাদের বিরুদ্ধে শূন্য সহনশীলতা বজায় রাখছে এই স্পষ্ট বার্তা দেওয়া।"

প্রতিরক্ষা মন্ত্রী রাজনাথ সিং আরও বলেছেন, "অপারেশন সিঁদুরকে কেবল বর্তমানের প্রেক্ষাপটে দেখা উচিত নয়, বরং ভারতের ভবিষ্যৎ গঠনেও এর ভূমিকা অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ।" রাজনাথ সিং আরও বলেছেন, "ভারতের অভ্যন্তরীণ ও বহিরাগত নিরাপত্তা নিশ্চিত করার ক্ষেত্রে আমাদের সেনাবাহিনী এবং অন্যান্য নিরাপত্তা বাহিনীর ভূমিকার প্রশংসা করা যথেষ্ট নয়।"
