Punjab and Haryana High Court: করবা চৌথ নিয়ে বড় ঘোষণা পঞ্জাব হরিয়ানা হাইকোর্টের
সকল মহিলাদের জন্য বাধ্যতামূলক করা হোক করবা চৌথ এই দাবী নিয়ে পঞ্জাব হরিয়ানা হাইকোর্টে পিটিশন জমা দিয়েছিলেন একদল মানুষ।
নয়াদিল্লিঃ পঞ্জাবে সকল মহিলাদের জন্য বাধ্যতামূলক নয় করবা চৌথ(Karwa Chauth ), বড় ঘোষণা পঞ্জাব হরিয়ানা হাইকোর্টের(Punjab and Haryana High Court)। সেই সঙ্গে পিটিশন জমা দেওয়ার জন্য ১০০০ টাকা জরিমানা আদালতের। সকল মহিলাদের জন্য বাধ্যতামূলক করা হোক করবা চৌথ এই দাবী নিয়ে পঞ্জাব হরিয়ানা হাইকোর্টে পিটিশন জমা দিয়েছিলেন একদল মানুষ। এ বার সেই পিটিশন খারিজ করল পঞ্জাব হরিয়ানা হাইকোর্ট। এদিন বিচারপতি শীল নাগু এবং সুমিত গোয়েলের বেঞ্চে এই মামলার শুনানি হয়। কোর্ট সাফ জানায়, করবা চৌথ পালন বাধ্যতামূলক হতে পারে না। এই ব্যাপারে আদালত কোনওরকম হস্তক্ষেপ করবে না।
