ওডিশায় বালেশ্বরে ভয়বাহ ট্রেন দুর্ঘটনাস্থলেই আছেন কেন্দ্রীয় রেলমন্ত্রী অশ্বিনী বৈষ্ণব। রেলমন্ত্রীর থেকে বালেশ্বরে ট্রেন লাইন নতুন করে পাতার কাজ কেমন চলছে সেই বিষয়ে তাঁর কাছে ফোন করে খোঁজ নিলেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী।

উদ্ধারকাজের পুরোটা দেখার পর, এবার সেখানে নতুন করে লাইন পাতা এবং ট্রেন চলাচল স্বাভাবিক করার কাজ তদারকি করছেন কেন্দ্রীয় রেলমন্ত্রী। কেন্দ্রীয় মন্ত্রী ধর্মেন্দ্র প্রধানকে নিয়ে এদিন সকালে ওডিশার বিভিন্ন হাসপাতালে ট্রেন দুর্ঘটনায় আহতদের সঙ্গে কথা বলতে যান অশ্বিনী বৈষ্ণব। আহতদের চিকিতসা কেমনভাবে চলছে তাও খোঁজ নেন রেলমন্ত্রী।
