President Draupadi Murmu: ছত্তিশগড়ের মাওবাদী হামলার শিকার পরিবারের সঙ্গে সাক্ষাৎ রাষ্ট্রপতি দ্রৌপদী মুর্মুর
রাষ্ট্রপতি মুর্মু অতি বাম চরমপন্থীদের হিংসার পথ ত্যাগ করার আহ্বানও জানিয়ে বলেন যে সরকার তাদের সমস্যা সমাধানের জন্য সমস্ত প্রচেষ্টা করবে।তিনি আরও বলেন- এটাই গণতন্ত্রের পথ এবং এই পথই মহাত্মা গান্ধী আমাদের দেখিয়েছিলেন।
রাষ্ট্রপতি দ্রৌপদী মুর্মু আজ নতুন দিল্লির রাষ্ট্রপতি ভবনে ছত্তিশগড়ের বস্তার অঞ্চলের মাওবাদী আক্রমণের শিকার বেশ কয়েকজনের সঙ্গে দেখা করেছেন। একটি সোশ্যাল মিডিয়া পোস্টে, রাষ্ট্রপতি বলেন যে কোনও উদ্দেশ্য সহিংসতার পথ গ্রহণকে ন্যায্যতা দিতে পারে না, যা সমাজের জন্য অত্যধিক ব্যয়বহুল প্রমাণিত হয়। রাষ্ট্রপতি মুর্মু অতি বাম চরমপন্থীদের হিংসার পথ ত্যাগ করার আহ্বানও জানিয়ে বলেন যে সরকার তাদের সমস্যা সমাধানের জন্য সমস্ত প্রচেষ্টা করবে।তিনি আরও বলেন- এটাই গণতন্ত্রের পথ এবং এই পথই মহাত্মা গান্ধী আমাদের দেখিয়েছিলেন। হিংসায় বিধ্বস্ত এই বিশ্বে আমাদের অবশ্যই শান্তির পথে চলার চেষ্টা করতে হবে।
