বেফাঁস মন্তব্যের জের। রাজস্থানের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী অশোক গেহলতের বিরুদ্ধে আদালতে মানহানিকর মামলা দায়ের করলেন কেন্দ্রীয় মন্ত্রী গজেন্দ্র সিং শাখাওয়াত। সঞ্জীবনী ক্রেডিট সোসাইটি স্ক্যাম নিয়ে অশোক গেহলতের এমন অবমাননাকর মন্তব্যের জেরে মানহানি হয়েছে এমনই মত কেন্দ্রীয় মন্ত্রীর। এবং এর পাশাপাশি তিনি আর্থিক ক্ষতিপূরণও দাবি করেছেন।
২৮ শে ফ্রেবরুয়ারী সঞ্জীবনী সোসাইটির দুর্নীতির সঙ্গে গজেন্দ্র সিং শাখাওয়াতের যুক্ত হওয়ার বিষয় নিয়ে জনসমক্ষে অভিযোগ করেন রাজস্থানের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী অশোক গেহলট। সেই সূত্রেই এদিন দিল্লির রাউস অ্যাভিনিউ কোর্টে দায়ের করা হয় মামলা।
