Doctors' Day 2025: আজ জাতীয় ডাক্তার দিবস (National Doctor’s Day)। ১ জুলাই ভারতের প্রখ্যাত চিকিৎসক ও পশ্চিমবঙ্গের প্রাক্তন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী ডা. বিধান চন্দ্র রায়ের (Bidhan Chandra Roy) জন্ম ও মৃত্যুবার্ষিকী। চিকিৎসা ক্ষেত্রে অসামান্য অবদানের জন্য তিনি স্মরণীয়, তাঁকে সম্মান জানাতে এই দিনটি ডাক্তারদের উৎসর্গ করা হয়। এই দিনে চিকিৎসকদের অমূল্য অবদানের জন্য কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করা হয়।

প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী (PM Narendra Modi) ডাক্তার দিবসের শুভেচ্ছা জানিয়েছেন। তিনি এক্স হ্যান্ডলে লিখছেন, ‘ডাক্তার দিবসে সকল পরিশ্রমী ডাক্তারদের শুভেচ্ছা। আমাদের ডাক্তাররা তাঁদের দক্ষতা এবং পরিশ্রমের জন্য নজির গড়েছেন। তাঁদের করুণার মনোভাবও সমানভাবে উল্লেখযোগ্য। তাঁরা সত্যিই স্বাস্থ্যের রক্ষক এবং মানবতার স্তম্ভ। ভারতের স্বাস্থ্যসেবা পরিকাঠামো শক্তিশালী করার ক্ষেত্রে তাঁদের অবদান সত্যিই ব্যতিক্রমী।’
