Gold Smuggler Arrested: পাইপের মধ্যে উদ্ধার লক্ষাধিক টাকা সোনার পেস্ট, বিমানবন্দর থেকে গ্রেফতার এক ব্যক্তি
দুবাই (Dubai) থেকে অসুস্থ সেজে পুনেতে এসেছিলেন এক ব্যক্তি। যাতায়াতের জন্য ব্যবহার করছিলেন হুইল চেয়ার। আর সেই চেয়ার থেকে উদ্ধার হল ৭৮.১ লক্ষ টাকার সোনা। জানা যাচ্ছে, গোপনসূত্রে খবর পেয়ে আগে থেকেই পুনে বিমানবন্দরে নজরদারি বাড়িয়েছিলেন কাস্টমসের আধিকারিকরা। এরপর সন্দেহভাজন ওই ব্যক্তিকে এয়ারপোর্ট থেকে বেরোনোর সময় চেয়ারসহ আটক করে আধিকারিকরা। তল্লাশি করে উদ্ধার হয় ২৪ ক্যারেটের ১০৮৮.৩০ গ্রাম সোনার পেস্ট। এই সোনাগুলি চেয়ার সঙ্গে লাগানো পাইপের মধ্যে প্লাস্টিক প্যাকেটে মোডা ছিল। এছাড়া কয়েকটি গোটা সোনার বিস্কুটও উদ্ধার হয়েছে ওই ব্যক্তির থেকে। ইতিমধ্যেই তাঁকে গ্রেফতার করেছেন আধিকারিকরা। সেই সঙ্গে বিমানবন্দরে নজরদারি বাড়ানো হয়েছে।
