সামনেই লোকসভা নির্বাচন (Lok Sabha Election 2024)। ৩৭০ অনুচ্ছেদ (Article 370) বাতিলের পর এই প্রথম কাশ্মীরে (Kashmir) নির্বাচন হতে চলেছে। আর এই রাজ্যে নির্বাচনের দিকে তাকিয়ে গোটা দেশ। সম্প্রতি জাতীয় নির্বাচন কমিশন রাজ্যের প্রস্তুতি পরিদর্শনে এসেছিলেন। এই নিয়ে জম্মু কাশ্মীরের ডিজিপি আর আর সোয়েইন বলেন, আমরা লোকসভা নির্বাচনের জন্য একেবারে প্রস্তুত। আমরা অবাধ এবং শান্তিপূর্ণভাবে ভোট করাতে চাই। সবদল, সমস্ত প্রার্থী সমানভাবে প্রচারের সুযোগ পাবে। ভোটপ্রচারের কোনওরকম অশান্তি যাতে না হয় সেই দিকে খেয়াল রাখা আমাদের কর্তব্য।
