Kerala Ragging: সরকারি নার্সিং কলেজে র্যাগিংয়ের অভিযোগে গ্রেফতার ৫ জন ছাত্র
সম্প্রতি কেরলের কোট্টায়ামের সরকারি নার্সিং কলেজের র্যাগিংয়ের ঘটনার প্রকাশ্যে এসেছে।
নয়াদিল্লি: দেশের কলেজগুলি থেকে প্রায়শয়ই র্যাগিংয়ের (Ragging) খবর উঠে আসে। র্যাগিংয় থেকে আত্মহত্যার ঘটনাও কম নয়। সম্প্রতি কেরলের কোট্টায়ামের সরকারি নার্সিং কলেজের র্যাগিংয়ের ঘটনার প্রকাশ্যে এসেছে। পুলিশ সূত্রে খবর, সরকারি নার্সিং কলেজে প্রথম বর্ষের শিক্ষার্থীদের র্যাগিংয়ের অভিযোগে পাঁচজন তৃতীয় বর্ষের নার্সিং ছাত্রীকে গ্রেফতার করা হয়েছে।
কলেজের কিছু ভুক্তভোগী শিক্ষার্থী পুলিশের কাছে অভিযোগ দায়ের করে। ভুক্তভোগীরা অভিযোগ করেছে যে তাঁদের নগ্ন হয়ে দাঁড়াতে বাধ্য করা হয়েছিল এবং ডাম্বেল দিয়ে নৃশংস আচরণ করা হয়েছিল।
