Rahul Gandhi Visit Wayanad: ‘বাবার মৃত্যু শোকের সমান’ পায়ে হেটে ওয়ানাড় ঘুরে মন্তব্য রাহুল গান্ধীর

নয়াদিল্লি: বিপর্যয় উপেক্ষা করে ওয়ানাড়ে (Wayanad) পৌঁছলেন রাহুল গান্ধী (Rahul Gandhi) ও তাঁর বোন কংগ্রেসের সাধারণ সম্পাদক প্রিয়াঙ্কা গান্ধী (Priyanka Gandhi)। বৃষ্টির মধ্যে রেন কোট গায়ে চাপিয়ে পায়ে হেটে এলাকা ঘুরে বিপর্যস্তদের সঙ্গে কথা বললেন তাঁরা। স্থানীয় প্রশাসনের সঙ্গেও আলোচনা করেন। ওয়ানাড পর্যবেক্ষণের পর কংগ্রেস সাংসদ রাহুল গান্ধী বলেন, ‘আমার বাবা মারা গেলে আমি যেমন অনুভব করেছিলাম আজও আমরা তেমন অনুভব হচ্ছে। তবে এখানকার মানুষ শুধু তাঁদের বাবাকেই হারাননি, তাঁরা তাঁদের পুরো পরিবারকে হারিয়েছেন। বাব, মা, ভাইবোন সবাইকে হারিয়েছেন। আমি জানি, আমি আমার বাবকে হারিয়ে যা অনুভব করেছিলাম এট তার থেকে অনেক বেশি, এবং এটা শুধু একজনের অনুভূতি নয়, এটা হাজারও মানুষের অনুভূতি। আমরা তাঁদের পাশে আছি, এবং আমি গর্বিত বহু মানুষ ওয়ানাডের মানুষের পাশে দাঁড়িয়েছেন বলে। আমি নিশ্চিত পুরো দেশ ওয়ানডের মানুষের সাহায্যে পাশে থাকবেন।'
