Professor Ved Prakash Nanda Passes Away: বিশিষ্ট শিক্ষাবিদ বেদ প্রকাশ নন্দের জীবনাবসান। মঙ্গলবার ২ জানুয়ারি তাঁর মৃত্যু সংবাদ প্রকাশ করে শোকজ্ঞাপন করেছেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী (Narendra Modi)। এক্স হ্যান্ডেল থেকে লিখেছেন, 'প্রফেসর বেদ প্রকাশ নন্দজির মৃত্যুতে গভীরভাবে শোকাহত। তিনি একজন বিশিষ্ট শিক্ষাবিদ ছিলেন। যাঁর আইনি ক্ষেত্রে অবদান অমূল্য৷ এছাড়াও তিনি মার্কিন যুক্তরাষ্ট্রে ভারতীয় প্রবাসীদের একজন বিশিষ্ট সদস্য ছিলেন। শক্তিশালী ভারত-মার্কিন সম্পর্কে উৎসাহী ছিলেন তিনি'। নন্দের (Ved Prakash Nanda) মৃত্যুতে তাঁর পরিবার ও বন্ধুদের প্রতি সমবেদনা জানিয়েছন নমো। উল্লেখ্য, সাহিত্য ও শিক্ষা ক্ষেত্রে বেদ প্রকাশ নন্দের অনবদ্য অবদানকে সম্মানিত করতে ২০১৮ সালে তাঁকে পদ্মভূষণ সম্মান প্রদান করেছিল মোদী সরকার।
