ভারতের ১০৮টি বিষ্ণু মন্দিরের মধ্যে রঙ্গনাথস্বামী মন্দিরকে প্রথম এবং সর্বাগ্রে বিবেচনা করা হয়।
ভেঙে পড়ল তামিলনাড়ুর (Tamil Nadu) শ্রীরঙ্গমের (Srirangam) শ্রী রঙ্গনাথস্বামী মন্দিরের (Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple) একাংশ। জানা যাচ্ছে, শনিবার সকালে রঙ্গনাথস্বামী মন্দিরের পূর্ব দিকের প্রবেশপথের টাওয়ারের একটি ধসে পড়েছে। তবে ঘটনার কেউ আহত হননি। তামিলনাড়ুর শ্রীরঙ্গমের এই মন্দির চোল শাসকদের দ্বারা নির্মিত হয়েছিল। ভারতের ১০৮টি বিষ্ণু মন্দিরের মধ্যে রঙ্গনাথস্বামী মন্দিরকে প্রথম এবং সর্বাগ্রে বিবেচনা করা হয়।
