অসমীয়া, মারাঠি, প্রাকৃত ভাষার পাশাপাশি পালিকে ধ্রুপদী ভাষার মর্যাদা দিয়েছে কেন্দ্র। আর সেই কারণেই আগামীকাল অর্থাৎ বৃহস্পতিবার আন্তর্জাতিক অভিধম্ম দিবস পালন করবেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী।
অসমীয়া, মারাঠি, প্রাকৃত ভাষার পাশাপাশি পালিকে ধ্রুপদী ভাষার মর্যাদা দিয়েছে কেন্দ্র। আর সেই কারণেই আগামীকাল অর্থাৎ বৃহস্পতিবার আন্তর্জাতিক অভিধম্ম দিবস (International Abhidhamma Divas) পালন করবেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী (PM Narendra Modi)। জানা যাচ্ছে, ১৭ অক্টোবর পালি ভাষাভাষি মানুষদের কাছে এই দিনটি বিশেষ গুরুত্বপূর্ণ, কারণ বৌদ্ধ ধর্মালন্বীরা এই দিনে গৌতম বুদ্ধের স্মরণে অভিধম্ম দিবস পালন করে। সেই কারণেই এদিন সকালে বিজ্ঞান ভবনে ভাষণ দেবেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী মোদী। তারপর সকাল ১০টা নাগাদ ভারতের সমৃদ্ধ সংস্কৃতি উদযাপনে বিশেষ অনুষ্ঠান এবং শেষে অভিধম্ম দিবস নিয়ে বিশেষ বক্তৃতা দেবেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী মোদী।
