শুক্রবার পাটনা থেকে রওনা দিয়েছিল ইন্ডিগো 6E-178 বিমানটি। গন্তব্য ছিল আহমেদাবাদ। কিন্তু পথ ঘুরিয়ে ইন্দোরে বিমানের জরুরি অবতারণ করানো হল। মাঝ আকাশে এক যাত্রীর শারীরিক অবস্থার অবনতি ঘটায় পাটনা-আহমেদাবাদগামী বিমানটির পথ ঘুরিয়ে ইন্দোর বিমানবন্দরে জরুরি অবতারণ করে ইন্ডিগোর চালক। বিমান অবতারণের পর অসুস্থ যাত্রীকে দ্রুত চিকিৎসার জন্যে হাসপাতালে নিয়ে যাওয়া হয়।
