চব্বিশের নির্বাচনের আগে ১৭'তম লোকসভায় নিজের শেষ ভাষণ রাখলেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী (Narendra Modi)। শনিবার বাজেট অধিবেশনের শেষ দিনের বিদায়ী ভাষণে মোদীর কণ্ঠে শোনা গেল আগামীর উন্নয়নের স্তুতি। বললেন, 'আগামী ২৫ বছর দেশের জন্যে খুবই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ হতে চলেছে। রাজনৈতিক বাগবিতণ্ডা নিজের জায়গায়, রাজনীতিবিদদের আশা, প্রত্যাশা নিজের জায়গায়। কিন্তু দেশের আকাঙ্খা, স্বপ্ন ও সংকল্প তৈরি হয়ে গিয়েছে। আর আগামী ২৫ বছরে দেশ সেই লক্ষ্যে পৌঁছবেই'।
