Ambubachi Mela: গুয়াহাটির কামাখ্যা মন্দিরে অম্বুবাচী মেলায় বিপুল সংখ্যক ভক্তের সমাগম
প্রতি বছর জুন মাসে চার দিন ধরে এই মেলা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়, এইসময় মন্দিরের দরজা বন্ধ থাকে।
নয়াদিল্লি: গুয়াহাটির নীলাচল পাহাড়ে অবস্থিত কামাখ্যা মন্দিরে (Kamakhya Temple) বার্ষিক ‘অম্বুবাচী মেলা’ (Ambubachi Mela) রবিবার থেকে শুরু হয়েছে, ২৫ জুন পর্যন্ত চলবে এই ধর্মীয় অনুষ্ঠান, যেখানে প্রায় ১২ লক্ষ ভক্ত (Devotees) যোগ দেবেন বলে আশা করছেন কর্মকর্তারা। প্রতি বছর জুন মাসে চার দিন ধরে এই মেলা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়, এইসময় মন্দিরের দরজা বন্ধ থাকে।
এই বার্ষিক অনুষ্ঠানটি নারীশক্তির মূর্ত প্রতীক হিসেবে বিশ্বাস করা দেবী কামাখ্যার বার্ষিক ঋতুচক্রকে স্মরণ করে পালিত হয়। রবিবার কামাখ্যা মন্দিরের প্রধান দরজা বন্ধ করে দেওয়া হয়েছে, ২৬ জুন পুনরায় খোলা হবে।
মুখ্যমন্ত্রী হিমন্ত বিশ্ব শর্মা বলেন, ‘অম্বুবাচী মহাযোগের সূচনা হয়েছে, এটি মা কামাখ্যার ঐশ্বরিক নারীত্বের বার্ষিক উদযাপন। সারা দেশ থেকে আধ্যাত্মিক গুরু এবং ভক্তরা ভারতের জন্য প্রার্থনা করার জন্য পবিত্র নীলাচল পাহাড়ে ভোরে আসবেন।’
