শোপিয়ান: কাশ্মীর উপত্যকায় (Kashmir Valley) শূন্যের নিচে তাপমাত্রা (Temperature)। বেশ কিছু স্থানে ঠাণ্ডা পড়েছে রেকর্ড গড়ার মতো। শ্রীনগরে মাইনাস ৫.৬ ডিগ্রি সেলসিয়াস তাপমাত্রা রেকর্ড। শোপিয়ানে মাইনাস ৮.৫ ডিগ্রি সেলসিয়াসে পৌঁছেছে এবং জনপ্রিয় পর্যটন স্থান গুলমার্গে মাইনাস ৯.১ ডিগ্রি সেলসিয়াস তাপমাত্রা। এই তাপমাত্রার কারণে অনেক অঞ্চলের জল বরফে পরিণত হয়েছে, ও গাছপালাতে বরফ জমে গিয়েছে। দেখুন-
