গুজরাট: গত কয়েক সপ্তাহখানেক ধরে ভারী বৃষ্টি এবং বন্যা হচ্ছে দেশের অনেক রাজ্য। কোথাও কোথাও তৈরি হয়েছে বন্যা পরিস্থিতি ভয়াবহ আকার ধারণ করেছে। গুজরাটে (Gujarat) ভারী বৃষ্টিপাতের ফলে অম্বিকা ও কাবেরী নদীর জল উপচে পড়েছে, এলাকায় বন্যা দেখা দিয়েছে। ভাসান্দায়, ওয়াংগান জলপ্রপাতে আটকে পড়েছেন ১২০০ পর্যটক। এনডিআরএফ প্রায় চার ঘণ্টার অভিযান চালিয়ে তাঁদের উদ্ধার করেছে। পুলিশ সূত্রে খবর, মানুষ সহ ১০০টি চার চাকার গাড়ি, ১২০টি দুচাকার গাড়ি সেখান থেকে উদ্ধার করা হয়েছে।
