Guillain Barre Syndrome: গুইলেন বারি সিনড্রোমে নতুন করে ৫ জন আক্রান্ত
সাধারণত কোনও ইনফেকশন থেকে শরীরে বাসা বাঁধে এই রোগ, হাত-পা অবশ হতে শুরু করে।
নয়াদিল্লি: স্বাস্থ্য বিভাগ পুনের গুইলেন বারি সিনড্রোমে নতুন ৫টি কেস ধরা পড়েছে। বিরল স্নায়ু রোগ গুলেইন বারি সিন্ড্রোম (Guillain Barre Syndrome) ছড়িয়ে পড়েছে দ্রুত। আক্রান্তের সংখ্যা দাঁড়িয়েছে মোট ১৭০ জন। পুনে এমসি থেকে ৩৩ জন, পিএমসি এলাকার নতুন যুক্ত হওয়া গ্রাম থেকে ৮৬ জন, পিম্পরি চিঞ্চওয়াড় এমসি থেকে ২২ জন, পুনে গ্রাম থেকে ২১ জন এবং অন্যান্য জেলার ৮ জন রোগী এই রোগে আক্রান্ত। এই রোগীদের মধ্যে ৬২ জনকে এখন পর্যন্ত ছেড়ে দেওয়া হয়েছে। ৬১ জন আইসিইউতে এবং ২০ জন ভেন্টিলেটরে রয়েছেন।
চিকিৎসকরা জানিয়েছেন, সাধারণত কোনও ইনফেকশন থেকে শরীরে বাসা বাঁধে এই রোগ। হাত-পা অবশ হতে শুরু করে। এটি এক ধরনের অটো-ইমিউন ডিসঅর্ডার। শরীরের ইমিউন সিস্টেমকে কার্যত নষ্ট করে দেয়। জল বা খাবার থেকে এই ব্যাকটেরিয়া ছড়িয়ে পড়তে পারে মানুষের শরীরে।
