এক দেশ এক নির্বাচন নিয়ে কোবিন্দ কমিটির রিপোর্ট ইতিমধ্যেই পাশ হয়ে গিয়েছে মন্ত্রিসভায়। আগামী অধিবেশনে এই বিল পেশ করবে মোদী সরকার।
এক দেশ এক নির্বাচন (One Nation One Election) নিয়ে কোবিন্দ কমিটির রিপোর্ট ইতিমধ্যেই পাশ হয়ে গিয়েছে মন্ত্রিসভায়। আগামী অধিবেশনে এই বিল পেশ করবে মোদী সরকার। তবে রিপোর্ট পাশ হওয়ার পর থেকেই এর বিরোধীতা শুরু করেছে বিরোধী দলগুলি। কংগ্রেস তো প্রথম থেকেই এর সমালোচনা শুরু করে দিয়েছে। এবার এই নিয়ে কংগ্রেসের পাশে দাঁড়ালো সিপিএমও। নেত্রী বৃন্দা কারাটের (Brinda Karat) দাবি, "সিপিএম প্রথম থেকেই এর কড়া বিরোধীতা করে এসেছে। যখনই প্রাক্তন রাষ্ট্রপতি রামনাথ কোবিন্দের নেতৃত্বে এই কমিটি গঠন করা হচ্ছিল, তখনই আমরা বলেছিলাম এটা আমাদের সংসদীয় প্রক্রিয়া ও কাঠামোর ওপর সরাসরি আক্রমণ হবে। এর মাধ্যমে বিধানসভা নির্বাচন তো বটেই, পঞ্চায়েত নির্বাচনকেও কেন্দ্র সরকারের অধীনে করাতে চাইছে বিজেপি। কীভাবে রাজ্যের সরকাগুলিকে ভেঙে ফেলবে কেন্দ্র সরকার। এই রিপোর্ট সংসদ বিরুদ্ধ"।
