নয়াদিল্লি: প্রবল বৃষ্টিতে জলমগ্ন (Waterlogging) অন্ধ্রপ্রদেশ ও তেলেঙ্গানা। দুই রাজ্যে এখনও পর্যন্ত প্রাণ হারিয়েছেন ১৯ জন। তেলেঙ্গানায় (Telangana) দশজন এবং অন্ধ্রপ্রদেশে (Andhra Pradesh) নয়জনের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। নিখোঁজ রয়েছেন আরও কয়েকজন। অন্ধ্রপ্রদেশের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী এন চন্দ্রবাবু নাইডু এবং তেলেঙ্গানার মুখ্যমন্ত্রী রেবন্ত রেড্ডির সঙ্গে যোগাযোগ করেছেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী ও অমিত শাহ। কেন্দ্রের তরফে দুই রাজ্যেকেই সাহায্যের আশ্বাস দেওয়া হয়েছে। অন্ধ্রপ্রদেশর বিজয়ওয়াড়ার বিভিন্ন অংশ জলমগ্ন । ভারী বৃষ্টিপাতের ফলে বন্যা পরিস্থিতি দেখা দিয়েছে। জলে ভাসছে যানবাহন।
