HC on Inter Caste Marriage: জাতপাতের ভেদাভেদ ভারতীয় সমাজে এতই গভীর ভাবে ঢুকে রয়েছে যে ভারতের পরিবারগুলো এখনও তাঁদের সন্তানদের অন্য বর্ণের ব্যক্তির সঙ্গে বিয়ে দিতে অনিচ্ছা প্রকাশ করে। সম্প্রতি এলাহাবাদ হাইকোর্টের (Allahabad High Court) বিচারপতি রাহুল চতুর্বেদী ক্ষোভ প্রকাশ করে বলেন, স্বাধীনতার ৭৫ বছর পরেও ভারতীয় সমাজে জাতপাতের বিভেদ গভীরভাবে প্রোথিত। যার ফলে অভিভাবকরা আজও তাঁদের সন্তানদের আন্তঃবর্ণ বিবাহে বিরোধিতা করেন।
