মূলত শর্ট সার্কিটের জেরেই আগুন লাগে বলে জানা গিয়েছে। মুহূর্তে পুড়ে ছাই হয়ে হায় গোটা ওয়ার্ড। ক্ষয় ক্ষতির পরিমাণ বিশাল।
নয়াদিল্লিঃ সদ্যজাতপূর্ণ(New Born) আইসিউ। চারিদিকে চলছে মেশিন। মাঝে মধ্যে কেঁদে কেঁদে উঠছে সদ্যজাতরা। এরই মাঝে আগুন। চারিদিকে আতঙ্কে ছোটাছুটি করছে রোগীর(Patient) পরিজনেরা। ধোঁয়ায় ঢেকেছে গোটা হাসপাতাল চত্বর। সোম সকালে ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে মধ্যপ্রদেশের(Madhya Pradesh) গোয়ালিয়রের কমলা রাজা হাসপাতালে। আচমকাই আগুন লাগে হাসপাতালের সদ্যজাতদের জন্য তৈরি আইসিইউতে। মুহূর্তে ছড়িয়ে পড়ে আগুন। তড়িঘড়ি ২৬ টি শিশুকে ওই ওয়ার্ড থেকে সরিয়ে নিয়ে যাওয়া হয়। যদিও এই ঘটনায় এখনও পর্যন্ত হতাহতের কোনও খবর মেলেনি। মূলত শর্ট সার্কিটের জেরেই আগুন লাগে বলে জানা গিয়েছে। মুহূর্তে পুড়ে ছাই হয়ে হায় গোটা ওয়ার্ড। ক্ষয় ক্ষতির পরিমাণ বিশাল। ওয়ার্ড মেরামত করতে প্রায় ২.৭৫ কোটি টাকা প্রয়োজন বলে জানিয়েছে হাসপাতাল কর্তৃপক্ষ।
