ভরদুপুরে পঞ্জাবে শ্যুটআউট। ভাতিণ্ডার কোটস্থামীর গ্রামে ঘটনাটি ঘটে। জানা যাচ্ছে, জমি বিবাদের কারণেই ঘটেছে এই ঘটনা। পরবর্তীকালে ঘটনাস্থলে পুলিশ এসে পরিস্থিতি নিয়ন্ত্রণে আনে। এই ঘটনায় গুরুতর আহত হয়েছে একজন। তাঁকে ইতিমধ্যেই স্থানীয় হাসপাতালে ভর্তি করা হয়েছে। পুলিশসূত্রে খবর, দুই পক্ষের মধ্যে জমি নিয়ে দীর্ঘদিন ধরেই বিবাদ চলছিল। এর আগেও এই নিয়ে ঝামেলা হয়েছিল। সেই সময়ও পুলিশের হস্তক্ষেপে পরিস্থিতি নিয়ন্ত্রণে আসে। তবে এবারেই গুলি চলে। এই ঘটনায় এখনও কাউকে গ্রেফতার করা হয়েছে কিনা সেই বিষয়ে এখনও কিছু জানা যায়নি। ঘটনার তদন্ত করছে পুলিশ।
