ভারতীয় নৌবাহিনীতে অর্ন্তভুক্ত করা হল ডিআরডিও এবং আইএআই এর যৌথ উদ্যোগে তৈরি মিডিয়াম রেঞ্জ সারফেস টু এয়ার মিসাইল। এদিন আইএনএস বিশাখাপত্তনম থেকে এই ক্ষেপনাস্ত্র সফলভাবে উৎক্ষেপন করা হয়। ভারত ডাইনামিকসে এটিকে তৈরি করা হয়েছে। অ্যান্টি শিপ মিসাইল হিসেবে ব্যবহার করা হবে এই নতুন ক্ষেপনাস্ত্র।
আত্মনির্ভর ভারতের ক্ষেত্রে ভারতের তৈরি ক্ষেপনাস্ত্রের অর্ন্তভুক্তি প্রতিরক্ষা ক্ষেত্রে এক নতুন দিগন্ত খুলে দেবে বলে মনে করা হচ্ছে।
