মহারাষ্ট্রের থানের এক দুর্গাপুজো কমিটির অবাক সিদ্ধান্ত। থানে অঞ্চলের বেশিরভাগ ঠাকুর বিসর্জন হয়ে গেলেও একটা মণ্ডপে বিসর্জনের নাম গন্ধ নেই। এর কারণটা হল, মহারাষ্ট্রের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী একনাথ শিন্ডে কথা দিয়েছিলেন, তিনি এই মণ্ডপে এসে ঠাকুর দেখে যাবেন। কিন্তু কাজের ব্যস্ততায় শিন্ডে ভুলে যান সেখানে যাওয়ার কথা। তাই আয়োজকরা মুখ্যমন্ত্রী শিন্ডেকে চ্যালেঞ্জ নিয়ে বললেন, যতক্ষণ না তিনি এই মণ্ডপে আসবেন ততদিন এখানে ঠাকুর বিসর্জন হবে না। থানেই হল শিন্ডের নির্বাচনী ক্ষেত্র।
