দেশের বিভিন্ন প্রান্তের মতই মুম্বইয়ের বাইকুল্লার চিড়িয়াখানাতে প্রাণীদেরকে গরম থেকে স্বস্তি দিতে বিভিন্ন উপায় অবলম্বন করেছে চিড়িয়াখানা কর্তৃপক্ষ। তাদেরকে হাইড্রেটেড রাখার ক্ষেত্রে খাবারে বেশ কিছু পরিবর্তন করা হয়েছে।
তরমুজ, আইক্রিম কেকের মতন খাবার খাওয়া হচ্ছে চিড়িয়াকানার প্রাণীগুলিকে।
