Mumbai: একাদশ ও দ্বাদশ শ্রেণিতে বাধ্যতামূলক নয় ইংরাজী, বড় সিদ্ধান্ত মহারাষ্ট্র বোর্ডের
ছাত্রছাত্রীদের কাছে পছন্দের বিষয় বেছে নেওয়ার সুযোগ থাকবে বলে জানানো হয়েছে। তারা যে কোনও দুটি ভাষা বেছে নিতে পারবে। যার মধ্যে একটি অবশ্যই ভারতীয় ভাষা হতে হবে।
মুম্বইঃ মহারাষ্ট্রে (Maharashtra) শিক্ষা ব্যবস্থায় বড় বদল আসতে চলেছে। আগামী শিক্ষাবর্ষ থেকে একাদশ ও দ্বাদশ শ্রেণিতে ইংরাজী (English) বাধ্যতামূলক নয় বলে জানিয়েছে রাজ্যের শিক্ষা দপ্তর (SCERT)। ছাত্রছাত্রীদের কাছে পছন্দের বিষয় বেছে নেওয়ার সুযোগ থাকবে বলে জানানো হয়েছে। তারা যে কোনও দুটি ভাষা বেছে নিতে পারবে। যার মধ্যে একটি অবশ্যই ভারতীয় ভাষা হতে হবে। আরেকটি অন্য কোনও বিদেশি ভাষা হতে পারে। ছাত্রছাত্রীরা যাতে আরও নতুন ভাষা শিখতে পারে তাই জন্যই এই সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে বোর্ড।
Starting from the new academic year, students in Pune will no longer have English as a compulsory subject for Std XI and XII.
They can now choose two languages, one Indian and one from a variety of Indian and foreign languages.
