ভারত সফরে এসেছে শ্রীলংকার রাষ্ট্রপতি রানিল বিক্রমসিংহে। আজ সকালে তাঁর সঙ্গে নয়া দিল্লিতে সাক্ষাৎ করেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী।এই বছর দুই দেশ কূটনৈতিক সম্পর্কের ৭৫ বছর উদযাপন করছে সেই সূত্রে দুই দেশের নেতৃবৃন্দ ভারত-শ্রীলঙ্কা সম্পর্কের বিভিন্ন দিক নিয়ে আলোচনা করেছেন।
