Mary Millben: ৭৮ তম স্বাধীনতা দিবসে ভারতবাসীকে শুভেচ্ছা জানালেন মার্কিন গায়িকা মেরি মিলবেন
ভারত-আমেরিকার সম্পর্ক যেদিকেই গড়াক না কেন, ভারতের সঙ্গে মেরি মিলবেনের সঙ্গে সম্পর্ক প্রতিনিয়ত অটুট হচ্ছে। বিখ্যাত এই মার্কিন গায়িকা ভারতের পক্ষে মাঝেমধ্যেই মন্তব্য করেন।
ভারত-আমেরিকার সম্পর্ক যেদিকেই গড়াক না কেন, ভারতের সঙ্গে মেরি মিলবেনের (Mary Millben) সঙ্গে সম্পর্ক প্রতিনিয়ত অটুট হচ্ছে। বিখ্যাত এই মার্কিন গায়িকা ভারতের পক্ষে মাঝেমধ্যেই মন্তব্য করেন। যেমন সিএএ নিয়ে যখন উদ্বিগ্নপ্রকাশ করেছিল হোয়াইট হাউস, তখন এই বিলের সমর্থন করেছিলেন মেরি। এমনকী প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদীর আমেরিকা সফরের সময়েও ভারতীয় জাতীয় সঙ্গীত গেয়েছিলেন তিনি। এবার ৭৮ তম স্বাধীনতা দিবসে ভারতবাসীকে শুভেচ্ছাবার্তা জানালেন মেরি মিলবেন। তিনি বলেন, ভারতীয় ভাইবোনেরা আপনাদের অসাধারণ যাত্রার কারণে আপনারা আরও একটি স্বাধীনতা দিবস পালন করছেন। এই ঐতিহাসিক দিনে শুধু আপনারা একটি তারিখ স্মরণ করছেন না, বরং আপনারা নিরলস চেতনা, অটুট দৃঢ়তার মাধ্যমে নিজেদের এগিয়ে নিয়ে যাচ্ছেন। ভারত শতাব্দি প্রাচীন বৈচিত্রময় সংস্কৃতি, ভাষা ও ঐতিহ্যকে স্বাধীনতার মাধ্যমে একত্রিত করেছে।
