উত্তপ্ত মণিপুর (Manipur) ছেড়ে এবার পাশের রাজ্য অসমে বহু মানুষ প্রবেশ করতে শুরু করেছেন। মণিপুর ছেড়ে শুক্রবার ১ হাজারের বেশি মানুষ অসমের চাঁচর জেলায় প্রবেশ করেছেন। চাঁচরের বিভিন্ন জায়গায় তাঁরা আশ্রয় নিলে স্থানীয় প্রশাসনের তরফে সমস্ত ব্যবস্থা করা হয়। চাঁচরের পুলিশ সুপার জানান, মণিপুরের বহু মানুষ সেখানে এসেছেন। তাঁদের যাতে কোনও অসুবিধা না হয়, সে বিষয়ে সমস্ত ধরনের সাহায্য এবং ব্যবস্থা করা হচ্ছে। অসম (Assam) পুলিশকে এ বিষয়ে সিআরপিএফ সাহায়্য করছে। পাশাপাশি মণিপুরের পরিস্থিতির উপরও নজর রাখা হচ্ছে বলে জানান অসম পুলিশের ওই আধিকারিক।
