সামনেই নির্বাচন। তার আগেই মধ্যপ্রদেশ নির্বাচনে নিজেদের ইস্তেহার প্রকাশ করল কংগ্রেস। নতুন এই ইস্তেহারে সাধারণ মানুষের জন্য বিভিন্ন ধরনের প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়েছে তাঁরা।
বচন পত্রে প্রতিটি শ্রেণীর মানুষ ও ভোটারদের বিষয়টি গুরুত্ব দেওয়া হয়েছে।এছাড়া পিছিয়ে পড়া জাতিদের ক্ষেত্রে বিশেষ প্যাকেজের কথা ঘোষণা করেছে মধ্যপ্রদেশের কংগ্রেস।
কিছুদিন আগেই এক মহিলার মৃত্যুর ঘটনাকে কেন্দ্র করে বিতর্ক ছড়িয়ে পড়ে মধ্যেপ্রদেশে। মহিলার ওপর অত্যাচারের ঘটনায় রাজ্যের বিজেপি সরকার শাসিত মধ্যপ্রদেশকে 'চৌপট প্রদেশ' বলে উল্লেখ করেন কংগ্রেস নেতা কমলনাথ।
