মোচা আতঙ্কের মাঝেই বঙ্গোপসাগরে তৈরি হওয়ার সম্ভাবনা নিন্মচাপের! জানাল আবহাওয়া দফতর
মোচা কখন আসবে বা কোন জায়গার উপর এর সবথেকে বেশি প্রভাব পড়বে তা নিয়ে জল্পনা চলছে। তার মাঝেই শনিবার আবহাওয়া দফতরের তরফে জানানো হল, আজ সকাল সাড়ে আটটা নাগাদ দক্ষিণ-পূর্ব বঙ্গোপসাগর ও সংলগ্ন এলাকায় একটি ঘূর্ণাবর্ত তৈরি হয়েছে।
মোচা কখন আসবে বা কোন জায়গার উপর এর সবথেকে বেশি প্রভাব পড়বে তা নিয়ে জল্পনা চলছে। তার মাঝেই শনিবার আবহাওয়া দফতরের (IMD) তরফে জানানো হল, আজ সকাল সাড়ে আটটা নাগাদ দক্ষিণ-পূর্ব বঙ্গোপসাগর (Southeast Bay of Bengal) ও সংলগ্ন এলাকায় একটি ঘূর্ণাবর্ত (cyclonic circulation) তৈরি হয়েছে।
এর প্রভাবে আগামী ৮ মে অর্থাৎ সোমবার সকালে ওই একই অঞ্চলে একটি নিন্মচাপ (low-pressure area) তৈরি হওয়ার সম্ভাবনা রয়েছে। এই নিম্নচাপটি বঙ্গোপসাগরের দিকে অগ্রসর হওয়ার সময় একটি ঘূর্ণিঝড় তৈরির সম্ভাবনা রয়েছে।
