ভোটের ফল ঘোষণা যখন প্রায় শেষের দিকে, সেই সময় দিল্লিতে বিজেপির সদর দফতরে হাজির হলেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী (Narendra Modi)। অমিত শাহ, জেপি নাড্ডাকে সঙ্গে নিয়ে দিল্লির বিজেপির সদর দফতরে হাজির হন মোদী। অনুরাগীদের উচ্ছ্বাসের মধ্যে দিয়ে দিল্লিতে বিজেপির সদর দফতরে হাজির হন প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী। প্রসঙ্গত উত্তরপ্রদেশের বারাণসী আসন থেকে জয়ী হন প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী। বারাণসী আসনে ১ লক্ষের বেশি আসনে কংগ্রেসের অজয় রাইকে পরাজিত করেন মোদী।
