নয়াদিল্লিঃ আজ, সোমবার জন্মাষ্টমী(Janmashtami)। অর্থাৎ গোপালের(Gopal) জন্মদিন(Birthday)। গোটা দেশজুড়ে ঘরে-ঘরে পালিত হয় এই উৎসব। এ দিন গোপালের সেবায় হরেক রকমের খাবারের ডালা সাজিয়ে দেওয়া হয় তাঁর সামনে। এ ছাড়া পুজোপাঠ তো রয়েছেই। আর এ বার এই জন্মাষ্টমী উপলক্ষে পুরীর সমুদ্রসৈকতে( Puri beach) এক দুর্দান্ত নিদর্শন গড়লেন বালুশিল্পী সুদর্শন পট্টনায়ক(Sand Artist Sudarsan Pattnaik )। এক সুন্দর গোপালের মূর্তি গড়েছেন তিনি। তবে এ বার তার সঙ্গে-সঙ্গেই সমাজকে একটি বার্তাও দিয়েছেন তিনি। এই কঠিন সময়ে যখন আর জি কর কাণ্ডের প্রতিবাদে উত্তাল গোটা দেশ, তখন গোপালের মূর্তির সামনেই শিল্পী লিখেছেন, 'অশুভ শক্তিকে বিনাশ কর।' সোশ্যাল মিডিয়ায় ব্যাপক ভাইরাল হয়েছে তাঁর এই নিখুঁত ভাস্কর্য।
