জম্মু কাশ্মীরে রাজ্যসভার চারটি আসনে দ্বিবার্ষিক নির্বাচনের দিন ঘোষণা করেছে। ২৪ শে অক্টোবর এই আসনগুলিতে ভোট নেওয়া হবে। গণনা ঐদিনই। এর জন্য বিজ্ঞপ্তি জারি হবে ৬ ই অক্টোবর। ২০২১-এর ফেব্রুয়ারি মাস থেকে চারটি আসন শূন্য রয়েছে। কমিশন একইদিনে পাঞ্জাবে রাজ্যসভার একটি আসনে ভোটগ্রহণের দিনও ঘোষণা করেছে। এবছর জুলাই মাসে সঞ্জীব আরোরার পদত্যাগের প্রেক্ষিতে ঐ আসনটি শূন্য হয়।
