ইন্দো-তিব্বত সীমান্ত পুলিশের সূচনা দিবস উপলক্ষে ইন্দো-তিব্বত সীমান্ত পুলিশ হিমবীর এবং তাদের পরিবারকে শুভেচ্ছা জানিয়েছেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী। একটি সোশ্যাল মিডিয়া পোস্টে প্রধানমন্ত্রী মোদী বলেন যে- সবচেয়ে চ্যালেঞ্জিং ভূখণ্ড এবং কঠিন জলবায়ু পরিস্থিতিতে ইন্দো-তিব্বত সীমান্ত পুলিশ জনগণকে রক্ষা করার জন্য বীরত্ব এবং উত্সর্গের প্রতীক হিসাবে দাঁড়িয়ে আছে। এমনকি পাহাড় ও দুর্গম স্থানে প্রাকৃতিক দুর্যোগ এবং উদ্ধার অভিযানের সময় তাদের প্রচেষ্টারও প্রশংসা তিনি। তিনি আরো বলেন প্রাকৃতিক দুর্যোগ এবং উদ্ধার অভিযানের সময় তাদের প্রচেষ্টা মানুষের মধ্যে অপরিসীম গর্ব অনুপ্রাণিত করে।
