ধেয়ে আসছে ঘূর্ণিঝড় 'আসানি'। সোমবার সন্ধ্যায় আন্দামান উপকুলে আছড়ে পড়তে চলেছে আসানি। বঙ্গোপসাগরের দক্ষিণ-পূর্বে অবস্থিত গভীর নিম্নচাপ ক্রমশ শক্তি বাড়াচ্ছে।
ধেয়ে আসছে ঘূর্ণিঝড় 'আসানি' (Cyclone Asani)। সোমবার সন্ধ্যায় আন্দামান উপকুলে আছড়ে পড়তে চলেছে আসানি। তার আগে সেখানকার আবহাওয়ার পরিস্থিতি ক্রমশ খারাপ হচ্ছে। মতসজীবীদের গভীর জলে না যাওয়ার কথা বলা হচ্ছে। বঙ্গোপসাগরের দক্ষিণ-পূর্বে অবস্থিত গভীর নিম্নচাপ ক্রমশ শক্তি বাড়াচ্ছে। সোমবার সকালের মধ্যে তা ঘূর্ণিঝড়ের চেহারা নিয়ে আছড়ে পড়বে আন্দামান ও নিকোবর দ্বীপপুঞ্জে।
এরপর উত্তর-উত্তরপূর্ব দিকে এগিয়ে হয়ে মঙ্গলবারের মধ্যে তা উত্তর মায়ানমার ও দক্ষিণ-পূর্ব বাংলাদেশ উপকূলে পৌঁছবে। ঘূর্ণিঝড়ের মোকাবিলায় ঝাঁপিয়ে পড়েছে আন্দামান নিকোবর দ্বীপপুঞ্জের প্রশাসন।
